Golestan province has a divine gift in having various water resources so that several rivers flow in it, and on the other hand, it has a free and pressurized groundwater aquifer. However, in a large part of the north and northwest of the province, there are no water resources of adequate quality for drinking and sanitation. This being the case, Bandar-e-Turkmen and Gomishan, whose inhabitants are mainly fishermen and have necessarily settled in this place to access the sea. In this regard, drinking water supply studies of these cities were assigned by Golestan Province Water and Sewerage Company to Mouj Ab Fan Consulting Engineers, 2011.
The purpose of this project was to supply, collect, transfer and store drinking water in the mentioned cities for 10,000 cubic meters per day through a desalination device.
The water supply plan to Gomishan city through desalination device has been studied for a period of 15 years, which is a 15-year plan period from 2011 to 2026.
Moujabfan Consulting Engineering was established in 2000, relying on the valuable experiences of experienced engineers. Moreover, prominent and specialized university professors have collaborated with the company to achieve this goal.
