Inspection and control of water resources exploitation, and monitoring the blockage of illegal wells were handed over to Mouj Ab Fan Consulting Engineering by Golestan Regional Water Company

Project objectives:

Preventing the unauthorized wells, controlling the extraction from authorized wells, preventing the traffic and activity of unauthorized drilling rigs, monitoring the activities of drilling companies, reporting the violations of the law of equitable distribution of water and regulations, reading the smart water and electricity meters are among the most important goals of patrol groups.

Patrol and inspection is one of the projects of the balancing plan that is being implemented to maintain balance in the aquifers. Therefore, the principal goals and indicators of this plan can be summarized as follows:

A- Quantitative and qualitative control of work along with organizing

B- Administrative and legal follow-ups of work to implement the water distribution law

Description of the performed activities to achieve the goals:

• Controlling the presence of personnel
• Daily and monthly planning for all staff
• Dividing the files among the employees by registering the details and the result of the file investigation.
• Preparation of a checklist for submitting documents and reports at the end of each month
• a random check of completed files

Instantaneous control of the routes traveled by patrol teams using GPS, and simultaneous receipt of oral work reports (telephone communication) from patrol experts.

Administrative and legal follow-up of work to implement the water distribution law

Holding a meeting with the departments of water affairs and receiving their opinions

 Holding a meeting with the representatives of the project manager and receiving their opinions

Issuing warnings for illegal wells since 2007 as well as surface water violators

Prosecution of illegal wells as well as surface water violators

Continuous patrol and prevention of unauthorized withdrawals of water resources
